Warm socks to wear in knee length boots - not too thick. Any ideas?

I have some lovely knee length boots from Hobbs, problem is they are quite fitted. So need thinish socks.

Tights are not enough, as get very, very cold feet. Last winter I tried thermal tights with thermal socks from M&S and they were ok. Hoping to have warmer toes this winter!!!!

Does anyone know if they exist and where I can get some?

Thanks

Try M&S menswear. They have a much better selection of socks than for ladies including lots of thin wool/wool blend. They start at size 6 so hopefully won't be too big for you.

Tk maxx do good socks.

oh, and also you could try sheepskin/sheepskin type insoles. Absolutely great for toasty feet. I get them on eBay.

I got some really nice ones in Millets the other day.

Cambridge Baby do a decent selection of wool socks of various thicknesses for adults.

And I also have several lovely pairs with high wool content from White Stuff that I bought last year, don't know if they are doing them again this year.

Agree re: sheepskin insoles. Totally fab.

Ski wear specialists sell very thin silk socks and glove liners.

I've discovered the knee-length socks from Uniqlo's Heat Tech range. Amazingly warm, and thin enough for me to wear under my skinnies and knee high bootsSmile

I love these from avoca. The pretty edging looks nice peeping out the top of boots

M&S menswear is where my wool-blend knee length socks are from as well, wide ribbed so they are warm but not bulky at all, quite fitted but also scrunch down nicely with ankle boots.

They are about the same as the Uniqlo heat-tech knee socks which I also have.

Also (this may be just me) my feet always feel warmer if I wear footless tights with socks, rather than socks over tights. I don't really know why, but think my toes stay warmer if they have room to move rather than being constricted.
