I did Next (usually avoid, but was walking past), Debenhams, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, BHS, M&S

I now need to try them all on and decide

Here are links to any I could find, so please vote
debenhams
next stripe
M&S

What do you think???

all of those are lovely

Mercy · 23/06/2006 17:15

I vote for the stripey one

PsychoFlame · 23/06/2006 17:40

flame and I both vote for the M&S one. hope that helps

Frenchgirl · 23/06/2006 17:43

stripey and flowery are both nice
don't like the pink one

UberCodofWashingFame · 23/06/2006 17:44

what colours normally suit yo?
go for htat one
ti will look nicest against your skin

foxinsocks · 23/06/2006 17:46

welllll, I think unless you have dark skin, the pink one will probably look a bit bland on your skin

think the next one is nice as long as you haven't got huge boobs (otherwise, I'd be constantly having to tuck them back in )

and I like the style of the M&S one but I'm not 100% sure about the black band under the boob bit but it looks like it would give you more support (and would look nicer on paler skin)

so out of those 3, I'd prob go for the M&S one

SomethingAboutMary · 23/06/2006 17:47

Dont like the pink one but love both the others

crunchie · 23/06/2006 21:54

Well in the end it was none of these, although the next one (stripy) was deemed OK. It was BHS A brown bikini with pink spots which had fake ties at the side (can't have ties they are too brief) DH is good as he knows nothing about fashion, he will always go for what suits. BHS is worth looking if you want bottoms that actually cover your knickers and hide the 'apron' that you get with a c-section

I went on my first beach holiday post children last month and took only swimming costumes as I thought that ladies over 30 should only wear one pieces. I was the only flipping one . Any female up to 80 was in a bikini!

UberCodofWashingFame · 24/06/2006 16:40

*I TEl you BHS is the best for swimwear

M&S one is lovely

crunchie · 24/06/2006 16:55

Actually I agree with Cod here, the swimwear is really worth looking at, especially if you want a knicker to cover strech marks and overhangs IYKWIM everyone elses are hipsters this year, BHS have briefs that look good but come to a couple of inches below the belly button. A much better look if you feel self consious. I feel almost lithe and sexy in mine
