Joules sizing for wellies and coats

I have a bit of a thing for a pink padded jacket and was wondering how generous the sizing is and whether the arms are really long?

The wellies all seem to have adjustable bits at the top- are they suitable for the sturdy of calf? :)

What is the quality like?
I need good quality as have a new dog that requires a lot of walking and am out in the country.

TIA

I am a 14 and I got that size in their Dakota jacket: can fit into it fine with a jumper underneath. The arms are a good length on me but I have quite long arms!
If you order from John Lewis you can always send it back. There was a thread on here the other day about Joules wanting a copy of someone's passport before they would send stuff out, so I would be wary about buying from their website.

The coats are ok, actually. Wellies and knitwear, and some of the cheaper dresses are not great quality at all. Hunter or Aigle I prefer for wellies (unless it's a Joules welly with bow you're after).

Customer service is dire. Really dreadful. I can't think of anywhere worse. They also wanted date of birth when I queried an order via telephone, or they wouldn't discuss it. So can well believe that about the passport.

Thank-you. Bit concerning about customer service. Will go a seek out that thread.

i brought this one www.joules.com/Women/Jackets-Coats/Langridge/Womens-Quilted-Coat/Marine-Navy?id=P_LANGRIDGE|MARNAVY in a 14, im a 12/14 depending on where I shop and its a bit big, I could definitely have gone for the 12. but its not silly big, so will be ok over jumpers and bulky winter tops.

I have their welly ankel boots thing. The sizing is bloody enormous - I could probably set sail to Australia in those things. I ordered a 6 maybe a 7 and even with thick socks they're massive, so fine for pottering around the garden - not so great for a 5 mile hike.
