I don't get them much these days thank God - a perk of getting old! - but we're going to a wedding at the weekend, I have a low backed dress and a ripe and red beauty on the back of my neck . I've tried Witch Gel and toothpaste but I'm thinking there must be something less teenage better out there to make it dry up/disappear by Saturday.

There is a cream made by Germolene called wound care cream and it sorts any skin problems for me practically overnight. Its available in Boots and probably other chemists too.

I believe Boots also do their own cheaper cover version of this, but as I've never tried it I can't comment.

HTH

There's one by Origins in a tiny bottle. It's very effective. You bed something h with high salicyc (sp) content.

I've found the Vichy one excellent.

Sudocreme! Best thing ever.

Neat tea tree oil. Must be unadulterated. Dab repeatedly through the day.
