Help please! Am attending two weddings next month, one in Oz, and one in SA, so weather should be fairly mild. Am trying to find a dress I can wear to both, as I don't fancy packing a whole wardrobe and hauling it around the world.

Mint green/Tiffany's blue and royal blue are out, as those are the bridesmaid colours. I'm thinking I probably want a coral or peach dress, with sleeves, and not anything that will wrinkle easily, as have the first wedding the day after we land, so won't have time to have steamed.

Under £200.

Send me your best Grin

Don't have my heart set on coral, btw, just seemed the easiest as I have accessories to match already. Quite keen on green and blue though, so happy to consider other colours Grin

here

What size are you?

tethersend · 16/09/2013 20:36

bargain Issa

reggiebean · 16/09/2013 20:39

Ooh, love that one tethersend. I'm a 42, so just my size, but am slightly concerned about the fabric wrinkling. Have added it to my list though. I may just have to find a dry cleaners and deal with it!

Silly question about the Issa dress. Concerned about how low cut it is (I have great boobs, but not for display at a wedding!)... Would you wear a nice camisole or bralet underneath, or does that look a bit silly?

OP posts:
tethersend · 16/09/2013 20:54

Hmm, no, I think you have to style it out with an issa dress... Avoid it if you're thinking about camisoles.

Will look again.

reggiebean · 16/09/2013 21:04

Sad I thought as much. I would be quite happy to give it a go for going out, but don't feel as if I'm brave enough to go quite so low for a wedding! Or do you think I'm being prudish?? Blush

Argh, I hate dressing for weddings...

Cheers babybarrister, good to know about the Issa's, may have to check ebay for some. Both of the links you sent are out of stock in my size though Sad

reggiebean · 16/09/2013 21:17

babybarrister How do Issa's fit? True to size, or do you go up or down one?

Right, have found a few on ebay that I've added to my watch list (5+ days left on the bidding, so will keep on eye on the price).

Any other suggestions from anyone? Grin

I know you said sleeves, but this is nice

reggiebean · 16/09/2013 22:27

Ooh, thanks tethersend. Am quite set on sleeves because I don't think anyone deserves to see my bingo wings uncovered, so am holding out for a long-sleeved dress, but will have a look at shrugs and wraps in the meantime! I do really love DVF though, I think her dresses are the absolute best!

I just bought this. Any good?

reggiebean · 16/09/2013 23:19

kikidee Not wild about the necklace bit of it, sorry Sad Thank you though!

Thanks all for your help! Have decided to go with an Issa from The Outnet, but it's a bit higher than I originally wanted, so am waiting until payday and hoping they don't sell out before Friday!!

Thanks all! Thanks

OP posts:
tethersend · 17/09/2013 22:25

Which one did you go for in the end?

The issa dresses do sell out very quickly, so if there's any way you can buy it now, I would!

reggiebean · 18/09/2013 11:27

Just fell in love with this one: www.theoutnet.com/product/413301

But it's far outside my original budget, so just keeping my fingers crossed it's still going to be there on Friday! Grin

OP posts:
tethersend · 18/09/2013 13:14

That's lovely... It may still be there, it's their 'signature' dresses which sell out fast.

Pop this one in your basket for me while you're there, would you? Wink
