The power of a good dress

I have a wedding to go to on Friday. I was feeling flabby and gross, and incredibly not in the mood. Then I tried on this Phase Eight dress and was miraculously transformed into a curvaceous glamour puss. Amazing.

Any other miracle items I should know about?

I look like I've lost ten pounds in this Boden frock

I like that! I need a dress for a wedding in 3 weeks, but I shall be 5 months pregnant, so I fear there is nothing on earth that will stop me looking, well, fat.

The only miracle item I know of for making you look and feel so much better is a decent fitting bra and pants so you do not have overhang of either the boob or muffin top variety under your quite frankly lovely dress.

Enjoy the wedding!

Can't link as no longer available but I bought a fab dress in Gap of all places, earlier this year. I've had compliments from friends, colleagues and random strangers and dozens of people ask me where I got it.

Its a very simple shape, but very well cut and a gorgeous colour and I feel like a gazillion dollars in it after all that.
