Does anyone bring a photo to show the hairdresser?

Of a celebrity whose hair you're trying to emulate. I'd like to do this but am reminded of that scene in Educating Rita where a woman brings a photo of Princess Diana and she's told 'I'm a hairdresser not a miracle worker'. Grin

So do you ever do this?

Well if it's good enough for Curlew Jr!

Always. All hairdressers have always told me they prefer it so they know exactly what to do without faffing.

Always! I'm very picky about my hair, and taking a picture means that I can relax while they're cutting, rather than monitoring everything they're doing and risking peeing off the stylist by "backseat hairdressing" Blush.

I do all the time. It's to show them exactly how you want it cut not anything to do with who it is in the photo. This is why they invented hair magazines you realise?

OK I feel more confident in this now.

Have never looked at actual hair magazines, the front cover is usually enough to put me off!
