Anyone seen a nice tweed blazer that isn't too pricey?

Have just lost some weight so am a size 14, abt 5ft 7, largish bust.....so think I need something quite fitted and not too short.

What do you think??

I like the Very one, I like some of the Jack Wills ones on ebay - can wear a 14 usually in their stuff but am worried as these jackets look quite close fitting so I may end up looking more like my pinterest image 2 in them... Grin. The Matalan one I'm not sure whether those big pockets would make me look more bulky, iyswim? Like the fabric though...The TU one looks nice but no stores very near me and can't order online.....
Like the look of the Joules, phase eight and Boden ones but may be a bit expensive atm...
The oasis one I can't find.....

The Matalan one is ruined by those dreadful, pound-adding pockets!

I got the Boden one. Looks great with Jeans, boots and a white shirt. Love it!

Pumpkintopf · 16/09/2013 19:18

Leo, thats what I was worried about....
Lots of love for the Boden - which colour did you go for Chicky?

I went for the navy check one... (I'm fair-skinnned, blue-eyed with reddish blonde hair) I can definitely recommend it! The cut and finish is gorgeous. You don't see the lining but it's beautiful: a gorgeous floral print. The teal in the check is not too bright but is eye-catching (zoom right in using the zoom function on Boden's website to see it). I went for my normal size and it's quite a neat fit but I prefer that as I wanted to keep the nipped-in at the waist look (I should still be able to get a couple of thin layers and a thin cardi under). I would size up if you want to put woolly jumpers under it but then you may lose the shape...there was quite a difference between the size ten (I kept) and the twelve which was swimming on me... Maybe worth a shot? I think MCES is still working for 20% off with free del and return :)

Gap?

AWimbaWay · 16/09/2013 21:30

The Boden one is nicer, but thought the Gap one was a fab price.

I went for the brown one, it is quite short, but looks good. True to size, a neat fit.

LeoandBoosmum · 17/09/2013 00:35

I'm 5ft3 and got the reg length - it sits slightly above mid-hip. It's a nice length :)
