Top coat - like it or lump it?

Am I the only one who finds top coat the kiss of death for any manicure/pedicure?

What am I doing wrong?

I apply it when my nails are fully dry, even hours after I've put the second coat of varnish on.

It NEVER fails to set/dry properly and I wind up w/a dinged up nail job on at least one of my digits!

I give up!

I'll take chipped nail varnish anyday over smuged toes and finger!

Happens to me too, expat. It makes the bottom layers of colour go all 'melty'. I never use it anymore

oooh they did a drying test on This Morning recently, and one of the spray ones worked brilliantly (they had the models put their hands into sand to test whether it had set)..do they have a website?

I'm glad it's not just me. There's nothing worse than gloopy toes HOURS after you've given them a lovely pedicure.

I've tried loads of different top coats, too.

But not a spray one
