Alpha Industries parkas: Mens sizeL versus women's size L - Would it look ok?

Seen a parka for sale second hand, its a mens black parka for £50, i bitterly regret throwing away my old freesoul parka a couple of years ago that i had owned for about 7 years, and I want to replace it rather than living in my north face all winter.

Doesanyone have one and would it be a total nono to get a mens parka (I'm about 5'2" tall) or do you think it would be ok?

Thanks!

Menswear is cut broader on the shoulder and narrower on the hips.

You would need to find out the individual measurements or it will swamp you!

oh thankyou for replying! I'm going to go into leeds at the weekend and try one on then decide if I should buy the one that I've found, otherwise sticking to ebay til one crops up! Think you've saved me from a potential crap purchasethere!

I bought one from ASOS 2 winters ago. Thinks its a size Small and I'm a size 10-12. Very warm and I'm so pleased with it. It was quite very quite expensive so £50 seems like s good deal.
