How would you style a polo neck such as this?

How would you wear this? With a cardigan or just alone? I need to layer - this is lovely on but probably not warm enough for me without additional layers. Neck is very high.

Probably not with a cardigan, depends on the cardigan.

That would look great under a pinafore style dress with a Uniqlo vest underneath to keep warm.

I'm planning on wearing it alone. I personally wouldn't add a cardigan to it and I'm the queen of cardigans. I will add some kind of thermal layer underneath if I'm cold

I would wear it currently with a shortish tartan skirt, boots, thick socks.

During the night I figured out that with a cardigan it was going to be a bit Good Life or Bergerac like - think 1970's polo with v-neck over it!

My reaction was the same as Queen Cadbury's. I can recommend the Patra Silk v-neck, long-sleeved thermal vests. My staple for the winter.
