elegant shoes for a wedding for tiny person

Attending a wedding soon and need shoes to go with my outfit.

Wearing an ivory coloured chinese dress (I'm NOT the bride btw) and really need some shoes to go with it.
I'm 5 ft 2" so 4" heels is a no no (makes me look I'm on stilts!). But I don't want kitten heels or flats either. something in between, possibly pale gold but not one strap sandal as I've got ugly toes and wide feet!

Any ideas where one might find decent shoes of that kind of description?

to start with, have a peek at the Clarks site (is all Flash so can't do links) at the sandal called Sukie, or try these from Schuh.
Next have some pretty gold sandals here too - top right and centre bottom.

Am having trouble finding anything with closed toes but will keep my eyes open.
