Nice! I'm very tempted by them in brown, but I think I might need more of a heel (only 5'3" ish). You've got a bargain!

SundaySimmons · 11/09/2013 18:00

They are very nice.

Sometimes the supermarkets get it just right. Fab price.

The brown ones as well are fab. Lovely colour.

I will go and try these on as the price is so good.

WildThongsHeartString · 11/09/2013 19:48

chelvis I'm 5'4 and normally go for a bit of heel, so I liked that these are not too flat, maybe 3cm, not much but not completely flat.
sunday the browns are lovely but I got Duo brown boots last year so can't really justify another pair otherwise I would definitely buy them too.

I've got them from 2 years ago. They are really good quality leather IMO, for the money. I find them a bit baggy, but I have very, very skinny legs so I wear a pair of leg warmers in them.

I reckon I've got another winter or two at least in mine, but they aren't my only pair of boots.

I saw these on the Matalan site but they'd be too clumpy on me.

WildThongsHeartString · 11/09/2013 20:03

Agree littlemiss they are quite wide, but that's something I'm glad about
fat calves

I got the biker version last year and they're brilliant value. I also appreciate their roomy nature Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 11/09/2013 20:41

I bought these in black last year and at the end of the season got the brown version in the sale for £7. Great boots that have lasted very well and are very comfortable.

Chelvis · 11/09/2013 21:04

Oooh I think I'll go for them then, my calves aren't the skinniest, plus I like leaving my slobby slipper socks on underneath Grin

I have a pair from 2 years ago that are going strong - and a pair I bought last year in case they didn't stock them again. I'm glad to see them back in as I want a pair in brown too.

Shame they've gone up in price - they were something like £35 or £38 last year. But £40 is still reasonable considering they are leather and wear so well.

I'd love the heel just a tiny bit higher, but nowhere seems to stock anything will a little heel that would be just right for my shocking feet!
