Please help - Post pregnancy fashion with small baby pouch&zero confidence

Hi folks.

I gave birth 6 months ago and my body is just not the same. I have always been between a 14 and 16 which is fine BUT no matter what I have always had a flat stomach (tend to just expand on hips and thighs). I no longer have this flat stomach. My skin isn't stretched ... it's just I have a small pouch where the baby once was. So side on I look almost a tiny bit pregnant. I absolutely hate it and feel like the whole world is staring at my stomach. I also have the sort of hips and bum that just won't squeeze into anything that doesn't have a substantial amount of 'give' / 'stretch'?

Questions
1/ Can you recommend a fashion brand that has a 'generous' fit? Is Simplybe any good? I find Holly Willoughby stuff amazing but can't afford the majority.

2/ How can I disguise my stomach without resorting to maternity wear?

3/ Do you know any tricks to disguise the belly? Oversized bag?

Please be kind....
Any help muchly appreciated.

I swear by Primark control vests with thin straps. I wear them under everything.

I swear some people think I am still pregnant when they see my belly! However, I have found a fantastic belly disguise in the form of high-waisted jeans. The New Look ones are best, as they are cheap but seem to last. However, I believe Topshop, Gap and Asos also do them. And there are probably plenty more if you shop around.

I also find that long, clingy tops do nothing for my belly. I used to buy tunic tops as I thought they would hide the bulge, but - bizarrely - they seemed to make it more prominent. I found that by wearing high waisted jeans with slightly more fitted (although not skin-tight) tops I looked less flabby in the tummy area.

thank you both! i have some high waisted jeans but i feel so fat in them. i live in leggings but they cling! oh it's so hard! i think my main problem is i still try to wear everything i wore pre-baby .... and they no longer suit me. i will try some high waisted jeans maybe in a larger size.
