Little girls' light cotton kaftans or kurtas

Has anyone any suggestions for where to look next?

I've tried: H&M, Next, Zara, Boden & Fat Face on line, Primark, Mothercare, Monsoon, Gap.

All I (fussily) want is a plain cotton lawn (white, but I'd probably buy it in every other colour if it was right) smocked or self-embroidered pull-on top with sleeves, for beach cover-up, and wearing with everything. They're in every shop for women, but little girls' ones are sleeveless or all gussied up with prints.

dd is six in October and I have finally admitted she cannot go on wearing the one I got in the Bonpoint sale when she was two.

Seen white ones in Tesco for fiver. Bought a white one for my ds. You could dye it a pretty colour. No-one else will have one.

Bink, I know they're supposed to be in all the adult shops, but where can I get one?

Tesco, fantastic - do they do online? Central London Tescos laugh at you when you ask where the clothes are.

MI, H&M best I think. Shopping on Sunday? Whiteleys has H&M Zara and Kew.

I had a look at online clothes but it didnt show them just beach stuff.

I bought this one from Gymboree in America - along with some other things.

Not plain, but I thought it would be ideal for a cover up on the beach like you said.

Did some researching of recommended online places people have used and came up with a perfect white Bonpoint (natch, but reduced) tunic on here . So mission accomplished.

Oh, and MI, there are, if my maths serves, 48 women's tunic options on there.

oops, meant to say thank you to everyone who suggested options!

(my maths didn't serve, there are 72 options)

MI - happened to see this and knew someone was looking for one but took me ages to find the thread - guess you've got one by now!
