Can I wear this dress to a wedding?

I bought this recently as it is the same dress I wore for my wedding but in a size that now fits. We've been invited to a cousin's wedding on the weekend of our anniversary and I was wondering if I could wear it then. Is it too pale - I know it's not especially bridal (aside from that I wore it as a bride) but wondered people's views on whether it was a faux pas to wear light colours still?

If I do wear it does anyone have any suggestions on accessories? Ideally some kind of headpiece/hat and maybe what colour to go with for something to keep me warm in late October and some shoes.

Yes, definitely. It is beautiful. Don't see any reason why not.

Id put it.with navy blue - shoes,.pashmina and bag.

I too thought navy blue for accessories when I saw the dress.

Did the cousin come to your wedding? Will she/he recognise it as being your wedding dress? If the answer is yes, then I'd wear something else; but if not, then go for it, it's fine.

I'd also add coloured accessories, although I don't go a bundle on navy blue - I'd probably choose cerise instead.

It's a lovely dress, and absolutely fine for a wedding. Like Thumbwitch though, I'd probably go for cerise or fuschia accessories.
Did anyone else have a wee snort at the wig on the model? Grin

It is a lovely dress and would be perfect for your cousins wedding, may be it could be teamed up with some rich browns/autumn inspired colours? However that jacket someone linked is rather fetching too. For my db's wedding I wore white as did my dm (ex sil did look as though she has a dead fish strapped to her nose though! Thank goodness she is now my db's ex ).
