For the brilliant bra fitting advisors...a question about fitting a teen

I count myself luck inasmuch as I had the advice to go right down in the back size and up in the cup quite a long time ago and am happily well supported! I would like to ask about my daughter though. She's 13, and very small, but growing. She's still in the league of crop tops imho, but wants to have bras to wear, particularly when they change for PE in school...to be like the others, many of whom have been in bras for quite some time.

I bought her first bras at M&S (as we all did, although I have never got my bras there as an adult), and she started off with a 30A, although at the time I felt that her back size really should have been smaller (and it has started to ride up), but the 28's are perpetually sold out.

Well, I had another measure of her, and she's 27" and a half, under bust but 31" and a half over. Despite looking very small would this make her, maybe 28 B/C? and if so, where to buy? I don't like the underwired and moulded teen bras at M&S, and I really can't see the point of the ones that are padded, but would welcome advice on this too. Many thanks in advance.

Am not a bra expert but I think John Lewis are supposed to have good teen bras?

M&s angel range have some in non moulded non padded cotton after not having any for years. Not sure what sizes they do , as last bought them for dd1 who is now 20, and this was Pre mn bra gurus Smile
However the moulded ones are quite helpful for teens and they don't show nipples through them, which can make getting changed for PE/taking your jumper off cos it's hot less embarrasing

She should probably try 28C/D so may find something in the Debenhams Gorgeous range which starts at a D. Therapy do 28B/C/D as do JL.

yup, 28C/D more likely and JL have quite a few. She will actually have a much better selection once she goes in to the D.

Thanks so much for this. I will go to John Lewis and checkout the brands suggested :-D
