Had cut today, looked fabulous at salon, now quite flat and fluffy. What's best product? Want a messy, choppy look.

I have this hair too. I use various wax type products - usually if they are called "gum" or "putty" they are good for working a bit into roots and tweaking ends. Go to a big boots and choose a couple to try. Also you can very slightly back comb the roots in the crown area to avoid flatness, or blow dry into the roots a bit. For shininess add a shine spray like the lee Stafford one.

I love my short hair, hope you get into it!

I have the same hair and cut. I use Aveda volumising tonic and one of their light 'whip' hair texturising creams.

VO5 matt clay. Really good product for messy hair and doesn't turn crispy or greasy. I use it all the time on my pixie.

I like: Aveda Pure Abundance hair potion, it's a powder that you rub in and makes hair seem thicker instantly, when I want to look like I haven't put much effort in. And Bumble & Bumble Sumo Wax - really solid and difficult to get out of the jar, but really good for adding definition and texture, when I want something a bit more dramatic.

Mine isn't quite a pixie cut but I also like choppy texture and volume. Mine also goes fluffy...urgh.

Was recommended Shu melt-in wax but that was £22 a tube so a bit much for me. cheapskate

Got myself some cheap volumising powder it is like witchcraft and some texture clay, and also some sea salt spray (which seems good) and some serum. Am having fun playing with them all...wasn't much for all 4.
