long leather jacket - where to buy

Looking to buy a knee to calf length leather coat. Have looked online but am a bit uncertain about it. Not a skinny mini (16-18) and as it's a once only purchase want it to look right.

I think I would quite like to try a few on, but where would you go? London Brighton and bluewater as well as anywhere in the south east are options, looking for recommendations for a good leathe coat specialist

I would think eBay was your best bet . In the nicest possible way I doubt you would find one in any current shops.

I haven't seen one of those since The Matrix first came out.

Aquelven- yeah I think so maybe/kind of. But would really like to try it on in person.

Dexter - actually thinking more underworld than matrix.

bishboschone - absolutely know I wouldn't, but would really prefer to try it on first hence needing the kind of specialist shop you find by local knowledge.

I have a brown one that I got for my 30th nearly 10 years ago that I am about to ebay.

I honestly don't think they Exist anymore . We used to have one near me ( which is near you too) but it closed down . It is online ( mabu) but I don't think they have any shops anymore . There just isn't the call for non fashion leather anymore .
