I'm going to be a fairy godmother at the end of Sept. Country church, London guests iyswim? What shall I wear?? I could spend £50 and I quite like these four:
abstract
skater
floral
lace middle

or I could wear one I already have: orange Allsaints or 50s black and white spotty
WWYD?

The black and white spotty is lovely - what would you wear with it if it's an autumnal day?

Next best is 'abstract'

FauxFox · 04/09/2013 19:20

I have a long sleeve black shrug or 3/4 sleeve cropped cardis in black or hot pink that i could wear with the viv one...

That paper dolls dress is amazing! Not right for a christening though.

The abstract one.

FamiliesShareGerms · 04/09/2013 19:21

How old is your goddaughter / godson to be? Will you need to hold a wriggly baby during the service?

MortifiedAdams · 04/09/2013 19:22

The viv one is too much for a christening.

piratecat · 04/09/2013 19:24

I love the first one, it's very versatile too. really nice.

FauxFox · 04/09/2013 19:25

The 'baby' is nearly 2 so hopefully no sick on my shoulder Grin

You think mortified? I would wear it sans petticoat so less pouffy and show-offy looking?

OP posts:
FauxFox · 04/09/2013 19:27

I know pirate I was a bit Shock at the cheapness...I hope it's as nice irl...

Sorry FauxFox but I have no advice but can I ask a question? What do you think of the quality of the Vivienofholloway dresses? I am thinking about getting one and I don´t know anyone else that has one would love your opinion.

Wishfulmakeupping · 04/09/2013 19:34

I love the oasis floral dress it suit the occasion best imo

FauxFox · 04/09/2013 19:34

They are fine inneed the fabric is cotton so I was a bit Hmm at first because it reminded me of the stuff you buy off a roll in fabric land but it looks good and is well-made. The boning on the bodice gives you a great shape but if you haven't got big tits you might not fill it, this doesn't matter as you can't tell from looking. I lent mine to a less well-endowed friend and she found it hilarious (and looked amazing - her mum cried!). I'm a 32E so don't have that problem...

FauxFox.

Great thanks for that, I´m not small in the boob department (34Gish) so I tend to need room.

Thanks for that, I might see if I can order one

FauxFox · 04/09/2013 19:41

Go for it inneed they are a bit marmite but I love mine. I bought it originally for a charity ball but have worn it to various parties and proms and have so far lent it to two friends for parties - it has always turned heads Smile

I love retro stuff anyway and you can't really beat a 50's round skirt!

Thanks

mrspaddy · 04/09/2013 20:21

I would go for the floral one.. It is lovely

FauxFox · 04/09/2013 21:56
