Which of these boots do you like best?

Ok, I need new ankle boots and I've found a few pairs I like. Obviously it will depend which ones fit, but I want to know which ones you approve of as I'm frumpy despite only being 31 not too confident with style matters.

I will be wearing them with skinny jeans (usually dark denim, sometimes burgundy or black) and tops tend to be blue/grey/black.

So, do you like these, these or these? Not sure whether I prefer the Next ones in mink or tan.

I prefer the first link myself and lots of folk on here have been linking to them too.

Next are ok, middle link are my least favourite.

I like the Next in mink, I might try them on myself actually! The others are too clompy.

I prefer the style of the second but they don't look brilliant quality

I don't like the first ones, the second ones are a bit like a pair i have, so like them, i love the last pair.

I i was starting from scratch for one pair I'd go for the second pair.

Marks and spencer ones

I thought I liked the first ones the most, but am not sure about the crystals - that would def put me off.

The second ones look as though some of the stitching may be a bit dodge, would need to look more closely.

Liked the third ones the least. I prefer a clompier heel.

I tried the Clarks boots but they weren't as nice in the flesh. I like the Marks ones best.

Sounds like a tie between the M&S ones and the Next ones. I think I agree, I wasn't sure about the studs on the Clarks ones. I'll have a look at them in the flesh at the weekend, to check the quality of the M&S ones and see whether I prefer the feel of the clompier M&S or less clompy Next ones.

not very helpful maybe but saw yesterday Next ones mink in the flesh, tbh they looked cheap imo while still £ 65,-. Looking at what you are going to wear I would go for black.

I have the last two pairs! I prefer the m&s ones they seem more versatile and make my tea dress and tights look not quite so pretty. I appreciate that they are probably the epitome of mumsy according to the laws of MN style and beauty aficionados now. But who cares I probably am mumsy. (I don't wear bootleg jeans or animal fleeces though)

M&S ones are the nicest, then the Clarks. Not keen on the Next ones, think they look a little cheap.
