I've used a few and tbh, I don't rate them at all.

I've used:
Benefit Porefessional - I have huge pores, it worked nicely a few times but really, nothing is going to plug these babies in. I don't use it any more.
Smashbox - silconey primer which is weird and doesn't smooth on my face. Apparently almost identical to Lanacaine anti-chafing gel, which I have also used.
A Revlon one - can't remember the name, it was ok.
Benefit Dr Feelgood - this was one was ok, but I used it over rather than under make up.
Bare Minerals - came with the kit. Ditto the Smashbox and Lanacaine.

What do you want it for?? I have greasy skin and large pores so wanted something to a) blue my pores somewhat and b) stop the make up melting off. None of them stopped the make up melting off, the two Benefit ones were ok in pore blurring but not the extent that I wanted to add another step to my make up regime!

I DO use Urban Decay Primer Potion which is an eye primer. It is amazing for keeping eyeshadow and liner on, it stops it creasing and it lasts literally till you want it off. It was about £15 but I've had mine 2 years in November and it's still going strong!

(PS - I'm not a mad primer buyer - although I was when I was trying to find the perfect wedding make up!)
