Mustard Seasalt coat for a brunette? Sizing?

I love the look of this coat, but I have no idea how to tell if the colour would suit me.

I love the fact it is properly waterproof but more stylish than a mac, but Seasalt charge £3.95 delivery and no free returns, so I don't really fancy paying a tenner to try a coat on if it's no good.

Does anyone have this? What's the size like? I'm a 10-12 in FatFace etc so I was thinking a 12 to allow for jumpers.

I had it in 12 (am 10-12 on top except at the moment when I am elephantine due to being 21 weeks pregnant with DC4). Was a good size. I did like the colour and jersey lining, but it isn't properly waterproof - it's a kind of treated cotton that doesn't stand up to heavy rain like we had last summer. It's also an awkward length and (obviously) doesn't keep your bottom half dry.

In the end I put it on eBay and bought a rubbery SOS Jensen coat from TKMaxx instead.

Oh, thanks for feedback. I'm in Bristol so need properly waterproof. They do claim it is, so I could always demand a refund if I get soaked . There's an ok waterproof in John Lewis I might try on instead though.

There are high street stockists for seasalt where you can try on or even order, sometimes cheaper than via seasalt themselves. My mum has spent the last week hunting stockists across the land for an item that was sold out online.

I have always found Seasalt sizing to be really generous (on a par with Next and M&S), so I would be inclined to buy a 10 if you do go for it.
