It's going to be very hot. I need to take minimum toileteries/make up. Travel sizes aren't an option. I need to declutter!

I took face wash, cream cleanser, serum, small tube of moisturiser (used same day and night to cut back on bottles so took one without spf) plus flannels so I could do my proper routine. Then for make up I had a sample of tinted moisturiser, 1 mascara, 2 lippies, 1 blusher and 2 eyeshadows.

For hair I had shampoo, conditioner, small elnett and small serum thing.

No body lotion or hand cream but maybe should have taken a body lotion at least.

I forgot my tweezers which was annoying as my eyebrows grew like crazy. Other than that it all worked well.

Actually, thinking about it the make up was overkill - 1 mascara, 1 lippie and 1 blusher would have been fine as couldn't be bothered with more, and that was evening only as too hot for it in the day.

Cleanser, moisturiser, cottonwool, 1 mascara, 1 eyeshadow, 1 kohl, 1 lipstick which doubles as blusher, shampoo and conditioner, razor, Clarins deodorant which doubles as perfume (such as Eau Dynamisante), toothbrush, paste and floss (no mouthwash - too bulky) hairbrush, tweezers, nail clippers, neutral nail varnish.

But I always take a full size, new moisturiser, as it doubles as hand cream and body lotion.

Perfume oil. Mascara, and dior bb cream

Lush solid shampoo and conditioners.

Nyx lip cream

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 01/09/2013 23:23

vaseline for make up removal/moisturising
hand cream because of my eczema
tiny bar of soap in a plastic tub because liquid soap aggravates the hands
eyebrow pencil because I really can't do without it,
one lipstick, which rarely gets used, if at all
shampoo/conditioner/swimming hair masque
contact lens solution
toothpaste
deodorant

I usually take a few other things (make-up mainly) but never use any of it, I like to relax and not worry about my appearance too much on holiday.

NARS Multiple in Orgasm or whatever suits you - they come into their own on holidays I think. And a SPF light base or tinted moisturiser, and a couple of lip glosses for daytime. A bland but rich cream like Nivea thick blue pot one for overnight skin rescue. Leave in conditioning spray and a good conditioner like Kerastase Masquintense. Rimmel Sun Shimmer Blush for pasty legs for first few days nights out!

InMyShreddies · 01/09/2013 23:49

And a gel manipedi the day before you leave.

I have a fake bake instant tan. Oh, I've never had gel nails. Are they dear?

Make up wipes
Baby wipes
Mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, blusher, lip balm
Deodorant
After sun which doubles as moisturiser
Face moisturiser
Shaving foam and razor for pits and legs (get a bikini wax)
Nail scissors
Tweezers

Lighthousekeeping · 02/09/2013 11:34

I haven't had a bikini wax for years! The thought of it makes me ill!

OP posts:
Doshusallie · 02/09/2013 14:34

It is the only wax I do, I have it done once a year, and it is not pleasant, but over quickly, and worth it not to bother for two weeks on hols....
