Help - advice please how do I stop in grown hairs on my legs after using an epilator?!

I have moved from waxing (no time, 3 DCs and full time work!) and shaving (too frequent) my legs to epilator. It's great. Works well, quick, can do at home when timing works with no mess and lasts for ages.

But now I have ingrown hairs and little bumps and if I pick the ingrown hair with tweezers it causes scabs!
Can someone with more experience help?
Thanks!

Exfoliate and moisturise every single day. Sometimes twice. I have exactly the same problem...

Same problem here. I do moisturise and exfoliate and STILL get them. I now shave about once a week to basically lift the ingrown ones, and that helps a bit.

Thanks all! I have been exfoliating and moisturising but clearly not nearly enough! Will try the decleor product too.

+1 to the ex-foliate and moisturise recommendation. That will prevent the hairs from ingrowing in the first place.

Make sure you wipe the epilator down with rubbing alcohol or another anti-bacteria product each time.

To treat the current ingrowns, you don't need expensive products - any run of the mill acne treatment will do (preferably something with 2%+ BHA). They are inflamed pores, just like pimples.

And stop picking at them - that will lead to more redness and maybe scarring.
