OK, your mission, fashionistas, is this. I have to attend a black tie gala dinner (business awards) in November. Full on posh frock and I need help.here is what you have to work with:
Nearly 50, 5 foot 7, currently 12 stone but low carbing and hope to be nearer 11 by November.size 16/14 currently. Problem area is tummy which sticks out.good bits are legs, neat ankles. Can rustle up a cleavage but a wee bit crepey. The big problem is I am not at all feminine or girly. I wear trousers, plain tees and flats. I feel like a bloke in drag all dressed up! I have short hair, short nails, don't do skirts or dresses really. I want to look glamorous and make my colleagues do a double take! I could do fierce - spike my hair etc - bit want a wow factor yet still be comfortable. What the fuck can I wear? No pastels, no frills, no flounces...have dark brown/reddish hair, green eyes, sallow skin. HELP!
