Has anyone done a one of these sessions?

I've got £500 to spend and can't do a wardrobe refresh on my own as I'll come back with a pair of £4 shoes from Primark and 25 identical tops from Oasis. I'm a hopeless shopper basically.

I'm 33, size 10/12 and 5'6, I quite like to get few items so for once I have a 'style'. I quite like the geek chic look.

Can any wise people recommend the best stores for this?!

Definitely do House of Fraser. They are great. I've done it twice, once for a new casual wardrobe following birth of DD2, once for back to work stuff and just booked a 3rd one for a wedding outfit.
They listen to what you like but will give you ideas you might not have thought of. And they don't push you to buy anything you don't want.
