Pencil/Bodycon dress to wear for September wedding

Got a wedding next week. I'm actually really happy with my body at the moment, and I think the tight/wiggle/pencil/bodycon styles suit me, and give me curves in the right places. Has anyone seen anything nice out there?

What about this or this or this. There are loads out there at the moment, I think with style you really need to go and try on.

Have you looked at the Paper Dolls dresses? I love them.

I have the pink one with the black lace round the waist and the black one with cream lace down the sides. Both are very flattering on.

This is over budget but lovely - I want it very badly but still carrying too much baby weight and don't want to buy it to 'slim into'. Sad

I bought one from ASOS for a wedding in May, it cost £40 and was very flattering.

Whistles have some good bodycon shape silk dresses, which I find very flattering. At full price they are over budget at £150, but you can find some in the sales from about £75 - I got one on ASOS a few weeks ago. A few styles to look for: Bella, jocelyn, Izzy. I've also bought a few Whistles dresses on EBay for bargain prices, although time might be a bit tight for you to do this.

The panelled dresses are lovely b&w red navy or pink. I have the monsoon dress in navy & it's v.flattering, good for a wedding.

The navy lace paper doll one above is stunning. Really love it.

That's great, some really good starting points, thanks! Usually I shop in new look/h&m/topshop and all the pencil style dresses in those shops has that sort of weird neon geometric print that seems to be popular, but it's not very "me", and could look a bit cheap for a wedding- some of the suggested ones (especially some of the paper doll ones an that gorgeous monsoon one) are great- thanks so much!

tatyanna.co.uk has gorgeous pencil 'wiggle' dresses. I can't wear them because my bottom half is too fat, so I buy the circle ones which look great. But if i had a half decent body I would buy and wear the 'wiggle dresses' at tatyanna.co.uk. Also, there is usually a discount code somewhere online that you use.

Sirens & Starlets sell lovely wiggle dresses/pencil dresses/bodycon. They also specialise in 1950s style. The shop is in Kentish Town, theyre also online. & on Ebay. Ive bought a couple of dresses from there, 1 to wear for a wedding. Nice material well made & give you that hourglass shape
