I'm a good 14 with boobs. I can't seem to find any Summer stuff left! I only have tomorrow. Oh, I need flip flops that won't hurt me as well. Any ideas what shop to head for?

A beach/surf shop like Animal for flip-flops?

Justshabbynochic · 30/08/2013 19:53

Just checked their website, they have a big sale going on with shorts, skirts and tops that go up to an 18. Do you have an Animal shop near you?

MrsFruitcake · 30/08/2013 19:57

Phase Eight? I find their sale usually quite good, even if to but now for next summer. Tesco had lots of sandals in the sale today too. Smile

Check the Boden clearance section. Sort by "my sizes" to find your size. Have a lovely holiday.

MissDD1971 · 30/08/2013 20:13

Hennes bigger (BiB) used to have dresses. they should still have a sale on. Evans sale?

littlemisswise · 30/08/2013 20:17

Fat Face

Debenhams might have a few bits left.

Dorothy Perkins can be good for dresses.

I've got Scholl leather flip flops. They don't hurt. I bought them right back in the Spring though. I'll do a search and see if I can find them.

SorrelForbes · 30/08/2013 20:19

New Look still have lots of knee length lightweight summer dresses.

littlemisswise · 30/08/2013 20:39

I can't find the flip flops, sorry.

Bunbaker · 30/08/2013 21:24

A lot of the summer stuff sold out of the shops very early this year due to the lovely weather in July. Which airport are you flying from?

We flew from Manchester and saw loads of summer clothes for sale in the airport shops. Also, I could buy clothes once we arrived at our destination. DD got a new bikini and I bought a dress.

Crutchlow35 · 30/08/2013 22:00

Next. Still have lots on their clearance page.

Lighthousekeeping · 30/08/2013 23:15

I can't go to Evans. I can't. What a carry on going on holiday looking and feeling fat.

Don't go to Evans !!! I'd try the Boden clearance site . Most of my summer hol dresses are Boden (not with vast splashy patterns) and always get compliments.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 31/08/2013 08:27

God you are a 14, you don't need Evans!

I'm a 16/18 depending on shop and I never shop in Evans, horrible shop.

Some good suggestions here.

Lighthousekeeping · 31/08/2013 10:36

Thanks. I don't bother with Boden these days but I got the colour block dress and two skirts. Saved about £120!

sorry I get confused re sizing and what size Evans starts at.

What about (and the ones I meant) - Wallis - they probably have some summer stuff left (sales etc) - also various Debenham concessions have nice summery stuff when I'm there, Mantaray etc.

Damn - double post.

Just checked Monsoon - their holiday shop online has lots left as does Acessorize.

It is also very worthwhile depending if you're flying etc say from Gatwick getting stuff in their shops (no tax or reduced) - Accessorize etc.

I'm the same size as you, bought a lot from fat face this year, maxi dresses, knee length dress, cotton tops, vests, chino shorts, it's all washed up nicely. I think you may have left it a bit late now though as I don't remember seeing much I store, although I've been buying the new autumn things before the best stuff goes. I did get some loose shorts, those baggy trousers and kaftans in accessorise, and they still had some in store last week. I went away in June and found it too hot to wear maxi dresses in the evening. As our apartment was pretty much on the beach and it was too hot to go anywhere during the day all I needed was swim wear and I bought a sarong, I was too hot to even wear a kaftan. A lot didn't get worn. How hot is it going to be where you go, do you think you will do much in the day? I'm really glad I took fit flops, very comfortable. Do you think you might get some time at the airport, or get a dress or top on holiday?

Bunbaker · 31/08/2013 13:32

M and S have no summer stock left.

It's going to be 30 Grin we have a pool. I don't think I'll need a cardi on a night. I'm not going to pack the maxis or denim!
