Depends what kind of line you want! I've been using Rimmel soft kohl - £2.99, bargain - for the last 10 years! I love how it smudges and it can make quite a soft or a dramatic line.

I have some fab ones from Rimmel that stay put through anything.

Watching with interest as I always find that no matter what I wear, it smudges under my eyes, making me look like I have (even more) dark circles.

Even so-called 'smudge-proof' ones.........

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I want one that I can use on my upper eyelash line but don't want a particularly smudgy one.

Another question - what make up remover is good for the eyes to remove the product? Thanks.

I use Garnier eye makeup remover (blue one) to take my eye make up off.
