Are any of you lovely S&B ladies regular swimmers?

What do you use to keep the side effects of chlorine at bay.
For hair and skin (face/body)

I went swimming on holiday and washed/conditioned my hair every night (not something I usually do, it's every 4 days IRL)
The pool was fresh water to didn't have that horrible chlorine smell.

I don't want to go overboard in case I really hate it though.

I saw an advert for BodyShop Oils (fruity ). Can that be used on hair?

Ideally I want to swim in the morning them come home to wash (so I can avoid taking a load of hair/shower products) just a face cream to apply.
Where can I get a good hair towel ? (The wrap/turban style) Primark ones were non-absorbant, mainly IMO to keep your hair off your face.

Any tips?
TIA
