knee-length boots for short women - where to buy?

I'm 5' 3" and knee length boots are always a bit 'buckety' at the knee - there's a gaping bit at the top where on a taller person they'd hit the top of her calf. And they end RIGHT below my knee, rather than a few inches below.

Where can I find shorter knee length (not calf length tho) boots? I've had luck with vintage 80s slouchy boots, as they scrunch down a little bit and are less rigid. Hit and miss with vintage tho.

My friend who is petite all round has some lovely boots that came from the teenage section of Jones the Bootmaker. Cheaper too Worth a look?

I have fly boots - can't remember the name but they are lace up and end just above the calf

Thanks! I'm short but size 12 on the bottom, and loads of boots are too narrow in the calf. Will check out Jones and Fly tho.
