Anyone know of cheaper versions of White Stuff/ Fat Face/ Joe Browns?

I don't know what I would describe my 'style' as but I really like a lot of the clothes available in shops such as White Stuff, Fat Face, Joe Browns - I guess kind of those 'smart hippy/ beachy' type clothes - tunics, knitted jumpers and dresses, layers, bold colours and pretty prints. However, all of these stores are way out of my budget. Occasionally I am able to buy something in the sale or second hand from ebay but mostly I can't afford to buy them. I don't find a lot of stuff like this in the high street shops where I can afford to shop.

So, does anybody know of any shops which sell things similar in style to these shops but at a more reasonable price? I just am not in a position to spend £50 on a jumper or £30 on a T-shirt right now!

Thanks in advance.

Mantaray at Debenhams has a similar look imo

gah posted too soon. They have very good sales so while the starting price may be similar you can bag a bargain at sale time

Have you got a FatFace Outlet near you? We got loads the last time we went to our local one (Bridgend) - I picked up several tops and some chinos; dd1 chose a top and dh bought trousers and shoes and we still had change from £100.

Thanks for your suggestions :)

I just looked up Mantaray and they do look like they would have things in a style I like. I have a nearby Debenhams, I will remember to go and have a look when they have their sale on.

Also hadn't even thought of outlet stores but I am actually not that far from Bridgend so I should be able to visit the Fat Face store there. Sounds like it will be far more within my budget if you were able to get so much for so little!

Thanks again :)

chesterberry I am about to charity shop some outgrown FatFace tunics and dresses. Size 12/14 I think. I am happy to send them your way instead...

I know one tunic was only worn a few times as I the neckline didn't work with my teaching job!

Not in the least offended if you don't fancy them though, they are leaving my house one way or another!!

Some Mistral clothes are that sort of style and they currently have a clearance sale instore so you may bag a bargain.
