I just bought some half price - I love them but they look stupid what ever I wear with them.

So I think I really mean, how do you wear low ankle boots?!

With skinny jeans / dress and tights / denim mini and bare legs - bet they look fabulous, I have 2 pairs and love them.

Mine haven't arrived yet, but have you tried rolling the hem of your jeans up? They style the, that way in lots of promo shots.

ClaraDeLaNoche · 03/09/2013 16:35

Where did you get them half price Pomp?

I bet they don't look stupid.

I just bought some for £70 from Brand Boudoir and love them.

My straight leg jeans look funny - think I'll need skinnies. And planning to wear with skirts/dresses too.

I got mine from Brand Boudoir on ebay too.

Skirts even with chunky legs?? I'm 37...

My skinny jeans look odd. I've tried rolling jeans up but that feels weird too - I think its the colour. I got black, wish I'd gone for a pale colour now. in my head all I see are mum boots.

Maybe I just need to get used to them

I got mine for £65 on brandalley on Saturday, they still have the studded version in some sizes.

evertonmint · 03/09/2013 16:59

I've got chunky legs and am 37 :) Heeled boots make chunky legs a bit more elongated anyway I reckon.

Do you have Pinterest pomp ? Try typing "ash spiral" or "Isabel marant dicker" (essentially the same boots) into Pinterest or google and you will get lots of ideas from how other people have styled them. I do that as a matter of course with new things, because even if I wear something one way there are inevitably many different ways I'd never have thought of, and I'm not imaginative enough with my style!

Pompbear · 03/09/2013 17:48

Ok - will have a look. I think it might be a case of me just getting used to the look after so long in knee high boots and ballet flats.

off to look on pinterest

That's a good idea! Try typing in Ash Jalouse too as they are so similar
