Please help me find a dress!

I'm going to a ball in a couple of weeks and I still don't know what I'm wearing. I'm 45, 5'2 and size 14 so I'm no skinny minnie. Budget is no more than £100 and could really do with some help people!

OK, when you say ball what does the invite say?

Ok, do you want something to cover your arms or a low front etc?

Its a black tie event. I would quite like 3/4 length sleeves but not too bothered really my arms are OK ish. I don't want anything toooo low at the front but I don't want frumpy either. I've been looking for a few weeks and I just can't see anything. :(

What length? Full or shorter? This is nice.

Have you tried Alexon? Either John Lewis or in a stand alone store. The waist is in the wrong place for me, but Celiac floorlength

Would like full length and would be prepared to have it altered if the dress was right. I do like that Next dress but I feel much too big for it. :(

I do, I was thinking it was quite Christmas party ish. I really like the draping though. I saw a gorgeous floor length red dress with sleeves in store but can't find it online anywhere.

ooo I really like the Hobbs one and the New Look one too. I have silver sandals that I was hoping to wear so they would def go with the New Look one and maybe the Hobbs one in blue? I love red but I really don't suit it at all.
