Love these but would need them to be about 80% off! Has anybody seen anything similar in black, grey or a mix? Don't care if people think they are horrible or out of fashion. :)

I heard that Zara were sticking with shorts for A/W, so might be worth keeping an eye out to see if anything else comes in.

BTW - I think they are fab, and if I had the confidence, I'd want them too!

:) I don't know if I have got the confidence tbh. I'd quite like a mid-thigh pair to wear with tights but it's a long time since I tried such a thing on! I used to wear them for work, 6 years ago or so.

I have worn shorts in the winter for the past two years - actually feel more comfortable in them than a skirt. I wear thick opaque tights under, and don't feel very exposed that way.

My legs are okay, but I do think they might make my stomach look fatter than a skirt does, because of the waist band - and my stomach is a bit bigger than it was 6 years or so ago!

I usually wear a boxy (i.e., baggy at the bottom) jumper with the shorts - avoids any tummy issues.

I really like those, Bunny - but Mango and I have not been on v good terms for a long time, I'm afraid. :) I will have a look though.

I think I'd need a fairly fitted (but not too fitted!) top, to avoid looking like a Weeble perched atop a pair of skinny legs.
