Can a big boobed gal wear a leather biker jacket?

So zip to the side?

I fear the mono long boob look. I fear it a lot.

If not, what styles of leather jacket would you suggest?

I am also of the larger chested variety and every biker jacket I have ever tried on just makes me look all tit. When fastened the girls looked like they were imprisoned. Let me know if you manage to find one though.

Marking my place.

I'm in the same boat, I've never been able to find a leather jacket that fitted my boobs without being huge/sack-like at the waist.

desertbaby · 25/08/2013 19:43

Hmmm, exactly what I thought. The ones I've tried have looked like a leather flat boob minimiser jacket.

I hope someone comes along who will link to just the thing for us.

They look best on small/no boobs I have boobs and have one but don't fully do up and have to wear a decent bra!

CajaDeLaMemoria · 25/08/2013 19:49

I've never found one. They look amazing on women with smaller chests - Kate Moss pulls them off well, for example. I have a very structured one that a Selfridges advisor convinced me looked nice, but it has to be worn open and with a really, really good bra. It looks terrible otherwise.

StatisticallyChallenged · 25/08/2013 20:23

This big boob girl does :) I tend to wear mine open with dresses to make them a bit more casual but it's the best solution I've found for days when I really don't want to wear yet another blazer. It doesn't look so great closed - more because I'm hourglass and it ends exactly on my waist so when I zip it my ass looks like it needs it's own postcode!

Mine was an Ebay buy (£5!) so I can't recommend unfortunately

I once tried on a bargainous Rick Owens number from the Outnet, it was a size bigger than my usual so I thought it would be ok...it wasn't. When I finally managed to get the thing on I resembled a saggy titted Fresian cow, desperately in need of milking.

I cried Blush

I'm a 32E. I love biker jackets but buy them small (so v fitted at the back) and never try to fasten them.

MedusaIsHavingaBadHairday · 25/08/2013 21:19

My DD2 wears a biker jacket ..she's a 28J (tiny frame, huge boobs!) She wears it very fitted and with her pre raphaelite curls flowing down to her waist....

not jealous at all....Envy

She often wears it with skinny jeans or fat face type dresses and DMs. Then again at 19 'tis easy to look great!

JeanPaget · 25/08/2013 21:53

Interesting advice about buying one and just accepting that you can't fasten it up.

When I've tried that in past I've always felt it's really obvious that I wouldn't be able to fasten it, and it looks like I've shoved myself into a jacket that's much to small and I'm in danger of bursting out of it a la the incredible hulk. Am I just being paranoid?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 25/08/2013 21:54

Paranoid, yes.

They look horrible fastened anyway.
