I usualy find Barratts great for both ankle and knee boots.

I'd say budget is around £60 but could spend abit more if I just had to have them. Colour and heel height isn't such an issue as I just really need help to get away from the frumpy mess I am right now.

I really like the Rocket Dog ones and the clarks. Can't see the top shop ones for some reason.

I like the idea, just not the execution. Heeled hiking type boots have been around for a hike n I on't think have totally gone off the boil. Depends on the rest of your style but I think leather, with a chunkier sole, would be great.
