I fancy one for the autumn you see. Grey or navy I think. I found one in to maxx yesterday (only one in my size, seemed a bargain) which I bought to try. It looks lovely on the hanger, nice dark grey, two pockets just above hip. Something rather like this blazer.

Tried it on and I look, well, odd. What shape size do you have to be to wear a blazer? I'm currently a 12 I reckon and have broad shoulders and matching hips. Usually go in at waist (but have 8week old baby) and so have larger than usual boobs. Am I just too odd to get away with a blazer?

EVERYTHING I try on lately looks ridiculous on me.

I think the answer is YES, but you really need to find the right shape for you. I am more or less your shape and size and I wear blazers a lot for work. The ones that suit me are single button ones, fitted at the waist and no longer than my hip bone. Anything else makes me look boxy and terrible.

Well the blazer does both those things SoldeInviernio, it has a single button fastening (should it be done up or open?) And also sits on my hip bones showing off my huge thighs.

May order another couple to try. Have fancied the thought of one for ages. Look so nice on other people...

I think the answer is in the baby :)
With boobs larger than usual and waist probably not yet at its usual size, blazers can look odd. You can still wear them of course, it's just going to take a bit more time to find one that fits your new shape. After I stopped breastfeeding I found shopping sooo much easier because my body returned to more standard proportions.

I didn't think I could wear them but bought one in gap yesterday. It is just a case of trying lots on I think.

Ooh which one in gap queencadbury?
