The current SLS thread reminded me of a question I've been meaning to post on here. I'm new to the S&B boards so sorry if this has been done before!
I've been CG for nearly three years now but have been using a lot of the same products for that whole time and I feel I need to mix it up a bit. I've mainly been using:
- Body Shop Rainforest, Tresemme Naturals, and Boots Almond & Coconut Deep Conditioner (which I can no longer find) for washing/treating.
- Boots pink & purple, Umberto Giannini curl jelly & styling spray, and Garnier Fructis hairspray (can't remember the whole name) for styling.
I just alternate between the different products as my hair seems to go through phases of what it 'likes'.
On the SLS thread I read a lot of recommendations for Green People. Has anyone with curls tried these products and found them to be good?
I also used to lurk on the Naturally Curly/British Curlies boards looking for product recommendations but there were just so many and tbh I just got overwhelmed with trying to get my head around them. Also a number of them were £15+ for regular sized bottles, and whilst I don't mind paying a bit more for something really good (maybe up to £10?) I can't spend that much at the moment.
Any good CG products that you use?
