Italy, weather, panic, what to wear, help, urgent!

I'm going to a city in Italy tomorrow for 4 nights. I've just checked the forecast and it's hot (90+), normally in this weather I lay around in/out of the pool. This isn't that sort of place.
I'm stumped on what to pack. Please help me.

This is troublesome. You'll have to make do with what you've got, it's only the dregs left. Text your pals and beg? Have you any nice Capri pants, strappy vests? Short flarey skirt with a slim fitting t? You might be lucky though if you do a wee shopping sweep.

Wear whatever you've been wearing over here while it has been hot . Just be aware that some churches are strict about covering up to go in so take a light long sleeved shirt and maybe a sarong if you are wearing shorts. Drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen and hat.

Umm I think I'll have to get to the shops. I've been hiding in doors while its been hot and my house is cool, when it was really hot here I was away.
