Where to find shoes for wide feet?

Just that really. It is always a struggle for me to find even vaguely fashionable shoes for my wide feet. Shops that make them (like M&S) tend to do so in the most 'old lady' of styles.

Anyone out there found an answer to this?

I've just given in to old lady M&S shoes so I'd be interested in some new shops too!
A couple of people have pointed me to New Look but I've never liked any of their options & the one pair I did buy were hideously uncomfortable.

It's the only place that can cope with my square feet.

Clarks are doing more now, not just the frumpy Kays ones.

Bhs do occasionally throw up a really top widefit shoe

Heaps of us went for their widefoot gladiator wedge this summer for eg (sounds hideous but they are fabbo)

I'm an EEE fit. Evans and New Look for me. If you search wide feet there have been quite a few threads on this with other suggestions.

It's worth googling 'wide fit shoes' and your local large town or city - I found independent shops in Birmingham and London that way.

Agreed that finding non-frumpy shoes is difficult, but sometimes the larger 'old lady' brands do have some nice styles. I have a pair of purple suede trainers from Hotter that I love, and standard black bar shoes from Padders.

Also check out Viva La Diva and Marisota which are web sites / brands. I have a pair of red patent Mary Janes in EEE fitting from VLD which don't really go with any of my clothes but I HAD to buy them

Duo! I now have three pairs of theirs, a pair of sky high court shoes, some leopard print low heels and some new chunky heels for work, not cheap but even the really high ones are as comfortable as slippers.
an example If it were not for Duo I'd seriously be looking at Hotter and my life of style would be over.

I've been wearing Van Dal ankle boots for years. Lovely and comfy! Though some of their shoes are definitely a bit old lady.

I like Duo although they can be a bit hit and miss. I call the customer services as they are really helpful and can advise on sizing in the wider fit shoes. Got lovely Isabel Marant style boots from there last winter. Also just got these from M&S and they are super comfy and look smart.

New Look, and Orchard shoes at brantano. The Orchard ones even managed to fit my swollen pregnancy stumps for several weeks after I'd given up with everything else!

I bought those M&S pumps in desperation, they fit Ok, but the patent has gone all crinkly after a few wears which suggests my feet are stretching them too much, and the bows irritate me - that is another problem for me, I hate bows or flowers on shoes which cuts down the choices a lot.

New Look - tried one pair but they cut my heels to shreds.

Last time I looked at Duo the flats were all covered in bows and flowers, I also but I will look again.

Mine are size 3.
It's impossible to get wide fit shoes for that size.

Just back to say thanks all... I've had a look at the Duo website and will try Evans.

New Look stock a wide fit range of shoes but they usually tear my feet to shreds (in defence to New Look, most shoes do this. I obviously have awkward feet). I've found more comfortable shoes from Clarks that fit me but as far as I remember were not labelled as being for wide feet.

I try sizing up tbh.
