I am going to wear heels, even though I'm six feet.
I am sick of flat riding boots, and fancy a more elegant look.

I bought some gorgeous heeled brogues last year and never wore them.

I'm going to remember that last year I had to wear a coat for months and buy a very nice one I don't mind wearing for months.

I probably should remember something about suede and winter but might not and get the boots I want anyway.

I know what you mean about wearing heels, MrsDavidBowie, I'm 5 '11 and can get a bit panicked about it but other times I think, well, I'm so tall anyway, do a few more cms really matter. I hope to wear some I bought last year.

I am going to ruthlessly declutter my wardrobe & only have things in there that I actually wear.

Having given huge consideration to the above, I shall only buy quality investment items which I love & need.

I won't stop exercising just because summer is over.

Let's do it together aoife24.

I should probably do the heels thing. I am only 5.7 and have loads of lovely heeled boots I hardly wear because of my fear of dwarfing people.

My resolution is to stop with the stripey T shirts and to only buy things that I love and that are beautiful rather than practical/appropriate. That's less a resolution and more the joy of coming out the otherside of pregnancy/post natal of baggy tops and elasticated waists.

I am not buying another pair of shoes again. Ever. Especially not boots. I really mean it this time Hmm

InMyShreddies · 21/08/2013 22:55

No more impulse 'bargain' buys. I will make a hitlist and only purchase good quality items from the list.

Which will be:

Mid blue skinny jeans
Charcoal wool jumper
One new scarf
Simple plain long sleeved navy, grey and black drapey tops in natural fabrics that wash well (although these don't actually exist, I can dream)

TerraNotSoFirma · 21/08/2013 23:06

inmyshreddies when you find those tops, give me a shout please :)

Jakadaal · 21/08/2013 23:14

I am going for quality rather than quantity. Have found the coat, need some new boots and have a cashmere jumper on the wish list and that is it Wink have also resolved to stop buying things for work - I only work part time and have more than enough things

Hopasholic · 22/08/2013 01:06

Not to buy anything until I have:

Had my colours done 07 sep

Condensed my 4x double wardrobes plus all the stuff hanging round the fronts & sides of them into two wardrobes.

Take all my shoes/boots out and get rid of all the ones which cripple me, even if I have only worn them once Blush

Only buy things which are the right colour, suit me and will last.

There, it's written down now so I have got to do it
