HELP: getting married and want to look amazing :)

Hello Ladies,

I am getting married on 2nd November and I need some nice underwear for under my dress. I am still breast feeding DS (and will continue at least until wedding for the bigger boobies Wink) and I need a low ish cut strapless bra.
I'm currently wearing a 36F breast feeding panache sophie bra. The not very helpful lady at the wedding dress shop reckoned I was a B or possibly a C (honestly, don't ever go bra shopping in Germany, they have made me cry once and angry many times - I don't know any non German that has had a decent experience and I have a few friends that need a bra-intervention :) ). Pre pregnancy I was a D/DD.

So I need websites where I can shop for nice lingerie please! Or if you can recommend a shop in London/Watford I am hoping to pop to the UK at the start of September.

Also, because the weather has been nice and DS loves to sleep in the buggy (but not so much at home Hmm) I have some pretty serious tan lines and the dress is strapless... HELP! What can I do about the tan lines? The combo of feeding bra and sensible tops means where my tan ends and the dress starts there is also a band of my paleness...

Hmmmm I hope you don't mind if I come back with a billion more questions :)

DS is a 7 month old, teething, commando crawling monster who only power naps (when he naps) so please bear with me if my fat fingers have thrown my spelling off Grin trying to type as fast as possible. X

THANK YOU!!

I was recommended the wonderbra bridal strapless bra, sorry cannot do a link as on my phone, its in a nude/ivory mix and on the. debenhams website the reviews state it doesn't slip down and goes to big cup sizes, I have just ordered mine.

Look online at Bravissimo, they do mail order. Order a few for size and return the rest. Will cost you a bit in postage but at least you'll get a decent bra out of it.

I'd second bravissimo - have you measured yourself the bra guru way to work out what size you are if you're not sure the 36F is right? That'll give you a jumping off point for sizes. Brastop.com can also be quite good and I think they sometimes do free overseas delivery.

I'd avoid the wonderbra ultimate strapless as I wore one to a wedding last weekend and have blisters from the silicone bands on it - I have never known the pain of wearing that bloody bra!

With your strap marks buy yourself some holiday skin moisturiser stuff (with the gradual fake tan) and use a makeup brush to apply it to your white bits each night. They'll eventually tone in with the rest of your skin.

And congratulations! November weddings rock!

Thanks for the quick replies ladies!! I will start by looking at bravissimo to get an idea of the right size for me, but I'm not sure if the strapless bra they have will be low enough to go under the dress...

HTFU I used the bra guru way to get my feeding bra size. But I'm not sure if it will be the same in a "real" bra. When I went maternity bra shopping here the lady wanted to only give me a 90/95 B (I'd gone in wearing an 80E) ConfusedHmm they are weird here about bras. The bra guru would be very busy Grin
