Where to put heel pads in court shoes

Excuse the stupid question but I'm hoping you wise mumsnetters will be able to answer this by morning so I can wear my new shoes to work! An nit really a high heel girl but am trying. I have some nude court style heels and one is a bit big so I got a heel pad for it. Where does it go though? The top, middle or bottom of the back of the shoe? None of them feels right but maybe you get get used to them?
TIA

Do you mean a heel grip? Like a greyish thick plaster with a slight shape to it? If you do then it goes along the inside of the heel so it is in a U shape if you look down at the shoe and your heel should feel a bit snug inside.

Yes that's what I mean thank you! Should it be flush to the shoe's insole or should i stick it so it runs as close as possible to the top of the shoe? ( ie where your Achilles' tendon is)

Sorry but I have only just realised that you replied Blush

I tend to line the top of the grip with the top of the shoe so your foot can't move up and out iyswim.

I hope they have worked and you have been wearing them Smile
