Flat black lace up boots that will last...

I love these but dont have £160 hanging around and can't find them any cheaper.

Next have a similar pair, but I bought last winters boots from next and they leaked...

Any suggestions?

Next must be right up there in the worst High Street shoes competition.

Amazon has these. They are £78 for size 6 and these are £90 for a 6. These are £130. There are several styles on clearance.

These Rocket Dog's are a bit sparkly but I have heard good things about their shoes. Shame these are red. They look subtle though. These are shorter versions and patent.

I would look on Gumtree and Ebay for the exact ones you want as you often find ones for sale still in excellent condition.

I do like the 1914 docs and the knee length ones, but I already have "normal" docs so ideally don't just want longer normal ones. I'm also tempted by the triumph docs (have found them for just over £100), but I like the ones in the first post cause they can be kind of dressed up too...

There is one independent shoe shop in town that has docs, I'm hoping they'll have the ones I want for less than online...

An independent shop may be happy to accept weekly/monthly payments from you too. You could pay in installments.
