Hi all,

I've never ever been happy with the shoes that I've owned ! :( Most are impulse buys which I hardly ever wear... mostly because they feel fine when I'm buying them but usually end up hurting me.
I do like wearing heels but they always seem to pinch my toes... So I usually end up wearing ballet pumps...and now I'm fed up with wearing the same style ballet pumps in black and beige !

So I've decided to donate the ones I've haven't worn in the last year and buy some new ones.... Can anyone help me decide what styles I should buy? I want to buy a few pairs that would go with most clothes...
Are there stores that cater to broad feet - I think that's why most shoes end up pinching me ...

Thanks in advance :)

Do you like Kurt Geiger? Have a look at shoeaholics (online)

I really like New Look shoes and they do a wide fit range. I find their shoes the most comfy by far - cheap or expensive

I love office and Schuh (sp?) and Dune. Have seen some nice stuff in Clarks recently as well.

But not sure about the wide fit bit. Steer clear of converse, they are quite narrow I think.

What's your general style and what do you spend most time doing? I'd start with a great pair of ankle boots I think.

I definitely second New Look.

Also, you could try Topshop for a pair of Chelsea boots. I bought a pair yesterday in chocolate brown, absolutely gorgeous & likely to go with most outfits. Smile

Clarks is always good for autumn winter basics (but somehow they can never do summer stuff well).

I bought a new pair of black pumps from tory burch yesterday, replacing my dune ones which had holes in Blush

If you like unusual shoes that are trendy and comfy, try Fly London. I love them!

Another vote for Clarks, especially for winter boots. I also like Converse for trainers and Dune/Kurt Geiger/Carvela for smart and 'going out' shoes.

I have wider feet and I am an absolute fan of Gabor shoes. Their flats are so much more comfortable and better constructed than many others.
It sounds like you have a lot of cheap shoes. Maybe try and upgrade, it will pay in the long run.

try ecco or hispanitas if comfort is important
