I am thinking of treating myself for the weeks after baby arrives. I like this .. It looks loose and flattering for days visitors are here.. want to dress up a little etc. I am normally a 12 on top I have only bump. Not really any on hips. Should I get a 14 to be safe or would this be unflattering... Mainly because I am a pear.. Large thighs. Only ever wear black or navy boot cut shape. Are you planning on breast feeding? I only ask because its quite a high neckline. Obviously you can pull the top up but you might want to wear a best underneath if so.
Just something else to think about!
Good luck with baby.

My DS is 16 weeks old and I'm in my normal size 12 clothes BUT only if the top is a generous cut in the chest! I never anticipated the effect of pregnancy and breastfeeding on chest size - a lot of tops that look like they are going to fit are too tight over the DD's I've developed, or become short in the body because they are accommodating more up top.

That said I really like the top - maybe buy but leave tags on so you can exchange if you decide it doesn't work?

I like it. I would go for the 12 if you've not put too much weight on. Keep the receipt though.
