Are those John Lewis personal shoppers any help?

I'm just 30, I'm in no way trendy.
Would a John Lewis personal shopper help me find my style? Or help me find some outfits that actually look good?

I need help I've really lost my way.

I think yes. I find shopping and putting outfits together very difficult. A few times I have had a personal shopper put together 2 or 3 outfits. There is no obligation to buy. It's a bit of a pamper TBH, they make you coffee and bring you the stuff to try on. Now is perhaps a good time as there are decent early season clothes in the shops.

I'm sure stylish and confident people would be aghast at being so sad as to not be able to see what clothes to choose, but IME they have been quite good.

I think I will do it.
I really want to wear skirts, coloured tights and boots with tops and jumpers- I tried it, I got it very wrong! I looked terrible :(

Maybe also have a little look around Pinterest or a blog so you know what you like? Might be helpful to do that sort of "research" first.
