Seraphine? You could just do the layering top thing though - vest top & then a loose-ish top (White Stuff or Fat Face are good) & then you just pull one up & the vest top down to feed.

Cross-over tops or wrap tops/dresses are good too. You don't actually need nursing clothes - over priced & not particularly flattering. Normal clothes are fine.

I find I get a bit too hot with a vest on underneath, although I guess I could cut some vest tops up
so they only just come down to below my boobs

where can I get cheap vest tops

I guess h and m

Next & m&s do the whole "2 tops for a tenner" (or whatever) thing. Loads of places have sales on atm too. I found, like you, warm with the vest top, but then it meant I didn't need a cardi so I suppose swings & roundabouts (bearing in mind summer isn't going to last forever!).

well baby is coming in oct,so guess I might need the warmth

just wanted one or two nice things for the horrid post birth phase, where I look awful!

Yeah I was lucky as I borrowed some clothes from my dsis (who is bigger than me) which were perfect for after the birth.

Tunic dresses (cross-over or twist neckline) over leggings (fat face style are really good - check out eBay) & just go for 1-2 sizes bigger than your pre-preg size. Some long-line cardis cover a multitude of sins - Boden do really good sales.

I used mamanana.com/ when I was in that phase. I found them excellent, and their customer service and advice is wonderful. I also liked the 'details' tab on the item description, like here, for ideas on whether the top/dress/etc might suit me, t was always true to real life. Can't recommend them highly enough.
